Nominee Qualifications

Nominees shall be in good standing with both the church and the jurisdiction of which they are a part and shall have been registered in at least two (2) of the last three (3) councils of the Midwestern District Council, 12th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.
The MDC Recommendation Form will be provided to the candidate or may be downloaded from the MDC website upon nomination.
The completed MDC Recommendation Form, including all pertinent information necessary for the screening process, shall be submitted to the Screening Committee no later than April 30, 2026.

Voting
Voting will be available daily throughout the Council and will not be limited to auxiliary meeting times or scheduled sessions. Eligible voters may request and cast their ballots at any time during designated voting hours by reporting to the Election Commissioner or an authorized member of the Election Commission at the designated voting location.
All elections, including both Auxiliary Officers and MDC Executive Board Officers, will be conducted through this continuous voting process.
All voting will conclude at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026. No ballots will be accepted after this time.
Eligibility
Candidates seeking election to an auxiliary or department office must have registered in at least two (2) of the last three (3) councils of that auxiliary or
department.
Candidates seeking election to the MDC Executive Board must have registered in at least two (2) of the last three (3) General Councils of the Midwestern District Council.
All voters must have registered in at least two (2) of the last three (3) General Councils of the Midwestern District Council to be eligible to vote for MDC Executive Board Officers.
Voters participating in auxiliary or departmental elections must have registered in at least two (2) of the last three (3) councils of that auxiliary or
department.
A registration list will be provided to the Election Commissioner and the Election Commission to verify both candidate and voter eligibility. Eligibility must be verified prior to the issuance of any ballot.
Voting and Counting Results
The Election Commission shall tally all votes to determine the winners.
Poll watchers representing each candidate may observe the vote counting process but shall not interfere.
Upon request, a candidate may be permitted to view a copy of the official voting log.
